Comments and viewpoints from “an average Joe” on politics, current affairs, business, etc. based on talking with the average person and my own views. I take no political viewpoint nor do I subscribe to any political ideology. I guess you could say I am politically neutral as I vote for the person and their policies. Whether they be Democrat or Republican or Independent, if I agree with them I will vote for them if I believe they have the “Average Joe’s” interests in mind when passing policy. Sadly no one, and I mean NO ONE in government today has the “Average Joe’s” interest in mind in government today as they are beholden to greed, big corporations, and big banks. Did I say no one? I ask you, why would anyone spend millions and millions of their own money for a job that pays only $185,000/year as they can never hope to recoup that investment on salary alone unless there were other “perks” to the office. Hmmm.
I am a truck driver, by choice, and hold a BS degree in International Business and Economics. I left the business world where I worked for more than a decade because I couldn’t stand the bullshit, backstabbing and ass kissing that was required just to get ahead. No one cared for your thoughts/ideas unless you complied with the aforementioned requirements.
